Great Book, want to read the next one....

Love Books that are written to show what an Awesome God we have, and the Saving power of Jesus, and the Peace from having the Holy Spirit inside.

Even if it is Christian Fiction, Still can teach and touch anyone willing to receive the message.

    I Also Recommend:

Excellent book--will be looking for more by this author.

I downloaded the eBook version of this novel for free, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was an excellent story, brought full color to life very well by the author. I will definitely be looking to purchase books from her in the future.

    Good story gone bad.

This book highlights the trauma of Gulf War (and any war) veterans and their problems in re-adjusting to "the world" - but it goes way off on the powers of religion. Chris' problems are realistic (as a vet and a father of veterans, I can attest to these problems) and the communitiy's inability to help is definitely the case.
If you served any time and are a true believer (in Jesus Christ as your Savior) - then this is the book for you! If you're on the fence about gods, it may not be your cup of tea. If you're agnostic (or atheist) and a vet - it will be strike a chord for the first half and get kind of repulsive during the last third.

A book for all those who have military men and women in their lives

I really enjoyed the story as I had a son who was in Iraq. He came home with some issues he needed to work out. We should stand by our military men and women and help the readjust to home life before it becomes too late

    over the top religious

too much with the scripture. Just didn't read as something that you would keep preaching to your "friend"

    A Simple Love and Forgiveness

At the end of Operation Desert Storm, close friends and female soldiers Chris and Erin go their separate ways-without even saying good-bye. When tragedy reunites them four years later, one's fear of God and the other's faith in Him collide in a different kind of war only one of them can win.

it was very gripping and highly rewarding to see how love and determination can beat all with God's love and His perfection..
