    Xtabentum

I loved this book. Interest is piqued from the very first page & you are drawn into the search from the outset. I love the intertwining historical accounts from the region of Merida. The title word was unknown to me, I thoroughly enjoyed the explanation and lacing of Xtabentum throughout the chapters. It left me wanting to learn more about this family - and more about the rich history/legend/and culture of Mexico. More please.

It's s good read. I learned a lot about the region.

I bought this book because I was going on vacation to the Cancun area. Wow, I really liked this book! It has Mayan legends (but just at the beginning of the chapters), songs and a deep plot. The book was the perfect size to take to the beach, and the cover started a lot of conversations with the locals. I will suggest it for book clubs
