After writing my first review of this book I decided to re-write

After writing my first review of this book I decided to re-write and make it more helpful instead of the ranting and berating of the publisher and author of this book. (Although it is deserved :))

My best advice to anyone considering this book for any children is DO NOT! This book in extremely inappropriate, in every way, for any child under the age of twelve. I had made the mistake of not previewing this book, as I normally do for my children, because the publisher rated this preK and higher. This is NOT the case, the images are ingrained in my children who were not only taken back by the realistic nature but the "horror" style in which they are presented.

My children who I am very proud of immediately closed the book and brought it to my wife's and I's attention. We were appalled at the images; a monster, ogre, knives with scary person throwing them, and much more. We will now be much more careful with previewing books, but we have also crossed this publisher and author off of our lists of appropriate material for children.

This book does not deserve the one star I HAD to put on it as 0 stars was not allowed.
