    Absolutely loved it!

Very refreshing--not unlike Richard Peck and Gary Paulsen.

Best book I have read all year

I loved this book. I was drawn in immediately and worried over young Jackson all week as I read the book. I felt his turmoil and stress over his brash decision to take care of the orchard - having bit off way more than he could chew!!! I felt gratitude and love for his siblings and cousins who helped him, and the quiet man who stepped in and saved the day, as it were. I could not hold back tears as this story drew to a close. This book is an entertaining and easy way to teach young people about what it means to run a business and how much of your heart and soul go into such a venture. I would give it six stars if I could! Read this one with your kids, you will all be the better for it.

Love this book as an adult !

In an interesting way easily talking about value of hard working in life through a kids story. Can't put it down and wondering about what next problem those kids going to face. A very good book to read with your kids.
