I recently read Yesterday, Today, and Forever by Maria Von Trapp. I honestly did not know what to expect when I got this book in the mail, but to say I loved it is an understatement. It is the BEST book I have read in a really long time. Maria is truly an inspiration on how to mother a family. The open way she looks into finding answers as a family regarding the Jesus' life is truly incredible. The way her whole family has researched and studied the life of Christ to the point where knowledge of Him and his life is like knowledge of each other as siblings is truly inspirational. I have walked with Christ for over 15 years and have never once considered most of the questions her children asked. I grew so much by just reading their discoveries, and pray that, as my two year old and infant grow, we too can collectively research and study God's word as the Von Trapp family has. I am so grateful for the opportunity to read this beautiful book.
I received this book for free from New Leaf Press for this honest review.

Wonderful individual or family read!
I started looking at books about the von Trapp family, but I found an even better family to read about: the Holy Family! The "yesterday" part talks about the research the family did to answer some of the questions eager young minds of the family had. That was a great part as were the other two parts. All of it is family friendly and I truly enjoyed stumbling over this read!

This is worthwhile reading
I have read a lot of books about Maria von Trapp over the years and had a relative meet her in person shortly after coming to America. This book is well written and shows a more in-depth side of her and the family.
The parallel use of the Bible along with their individual situations is heart warming and very meaningful. A great book.
