Not a cute glossy, but packed with good information. Highly recommend!
This is an excellent book for anyone with limited mobility or flexibility who needs reliable information on good, safe stretches. The writers are both in the medical field and have used yoga as an adjunct to traditional treatments for their patients for many years with excellent success.
There's a quick overview of yoga, another of the various forms of arthritis and a few related maladies, followed by the how-to section, and wrapped up with extensive bibliography, indexing and notes.
This book won't win any beauty contests, but the black-and-white photos (of the authors, rather than models) are clear, instructions are simple and include cautions and work-arounds for specific limitations with no added fluff.
I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone with arthritis, injuries, limited flexibility, or who just wants a gentle, effective, no nonsense series of stretches to help with daily stiffness.4 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

I have been looking for a way to help being able to practice yoga in my limited capacity. This book offers wonderful suggestions for the disabled or physically challenged person. I love it.
