You are here...or at least you should be.

'You Are Here' was definitely an enjoyable read, as it tells a brief moment in history of a gay man coming to terms with moving to New York City from a town in Virginia. This is not to say that it is directed solely toward gay readers anyone can enjoy this book, as its lessons and learnings apply to people of all genders and sexual orientations. It was a quick, enjoyable read, and Gibson's descriptions about certain events are dead-on. Some make you laugh, some make you cry. I will be on the look out for future books by this author.

    Everyone is Here!

This book is a great read regardless of your age, gender, or sexual preference. Eventhough it can be classified as 'Gay Literature' it can relate to absolutely anyone just looking for a witty book that truly depicts what it can be like in New York City, a different world in it's self. A great read...

The best book I have read in a long time

If you see a 20-something black woman reading and laughing hysterically on the R line in NYC, it's probably me with YOU ARE HERE. It's very smart and ridiculously funny. Not your average 'Going to New York to Make it Big' story.

    dark, funny, and terrifically written!

Wesley Gibson's YOU ARE HERE is extraordinary--sharp, funny, and unsparing, as if David Sedaris, Chekhov, and Nico were all fused into something never seen before. The Kirkus review makes the memoir sound arch and fey; in fact, it's a perfect balance of dark and funny. 100% recomm
