Great book. Can't put it down.

Couldn't Put it Down

I have come to rely on Karen Rose to deliver nasty villains, and twisted plots and I was not disappointed here. I thought I had the killer figured out a few times and I didn't find out until it was revealed in the book, and I was horrified. There was a wonderful mixture of romance, thriller and terror in You Can't Hide. We meet new characters that I am hoping will be getting their own books down the line, Vito, Tess' brother for one, Murphy, Aidan's partner for another. I had a hard time putting this book down and when the killer was revealed, I had so many mixed emotions. Can't wait to see what is in store for me next.

On the Edge of my Seat

I really enjoyed this book. It was my first Karen Rose book and I am looking forward to my next book by her. I related to the character as I am a Therapist. I understood what she went through with confidentiality of her patients. The book was suspenseful and well written.

Outstanding!

This was the first Karen Rose book I have read and it was fantastic. Edge of your seat, can't put it down, great who-dun-it. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read another. Karen Rose is on my "Authors to Love" list. Excellent reading. --K--

You can't sleep....

....till you finish this book. It was incredible. Kept me on the edge of my seat and guessing till the very end. Karen Rose is brilliant, you won't be disappointed by anything that you read by her. You can't hide has everything that makes a good romantic suspense.

The Doctor is in....TROUBLE!

I only just started to read Karen Rose-and now I know i'll never stop! This one is the best so far and I can't wait for more. The plot is gripping, the romance is breathtaking and the ending is twisted! I loved it.

Riveting.

As an Karen Rose fan this is one of my favorite works. I have read all of her books and pre ordered the new one.

Karen Rose is terrific

I just discovered Karen Rose a few months ago, but have now read all her books. They are all great, and so is this one. I loved the romance and the suspense. Highly recommend.

Awesome Book

It's been a very long time since I had to stay up all night reading a book because I simply could not put it down. This book was it. Great story, very intense and great romance. Reading the last 100 pages was like watching '24.' Found it hard to catch my breath.

Upon arriving at the gruesome scene, Tess is to late to save her troubled patient. Evidence points to Tess being involved and the detective assigned to the case as a beef with the good doctor. Seems she was instrumental in getting a crazed killer send to a mental hospital instead of death row. A killer that killed a fellow cop. _____________________________ Detective Aiden Reagan at first only sees one side to Tess Ciccotelli, the cool, collected doctor who testified in court but as he digs deeper Aiden sees a softer caring side to Tess. As more of Tess¿s patients succumb to suicide the investigation turns to who would want to hurt Tess and her patients. Aiden realizes that anyone around Tess is in danger and he offers around the clock protection. This leads to a romance neither had seen coming. _______________________ Aiden and Tess both have scares from their past. Some are visible some are deeply buried. Whoever is out there destroying Tess¿s world is also bringing Tess and Aiden closer. ______________________________ You Can¿t Hide will grab you from page one and not let go till you finish it. Even then it lingers in your heart and soul. The need to know why this is happening to Tess will compel you to read late into the night to get the answers you need. The suspense is all consuming and bone chilling. The personal relationship between Aiden and Tess is intensely sensual and filled with love of family and friends. ___________________________ It was a treat to see past characters play a role in this book. I hope Tess¿s brothers that are not attached get their story soon. ____________________ Karen Rose is an exceptional author in this genre.

Action-packed serial killer thriller

In Chicago psychiatrist Dr. Tess Ciccotelli is stunned by what is happening to her patients. An unknown assailant is somehow torturing them into committing suicide. For obvious reasons, Homicide Detective Aiden Reagan thinks the psychiatrist is either the culprit or hiding the perp especially since she refuses to provide him access to her records that she insists is protected under her oath to protect the privacy of those who come to her for help.------ Aiden is upset with the shrink for not helping him solve the case, but also respects her spunk and determination to do what she believes is right for the good of those who see her. As he gets to know her, Aiden concludes that an enemy wants her professionally discredited and goes after her family. Aiden assumes this unknown foe will soon target the doctor for his or her final act.------ The intrigue behind this action-packed serial killer thriller is guessing the motive behind why the culprit seemingly wants to destroy the psychiatrist by taking out her patients, leaving clues pointing at the doctor¿s failures. The relationship between Tess and Aiden is attractive combatants so they add tension to the mix. The story line is filled with several grisly suicides which takes the suspense-filled story line at times over the edge but fans of Karen Rose will not care just keep a calculator handy to keep score.------ Harriet Klausner
