Steam and drama
I loved this. Kenyatta is torn between the safe choice, the man her parents approve of, and the man she is attracted to, who also happens to be her boss. She has been attracted to Malcolm since she started working for him but he doesn't show any interest in her until she walks in with an engagement ring. I enjoyed reading about Kenyatta's struggle to make the right choice. There is also a suspenseful twist. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys romance with steam and drama.

So nice! Had to read twice-- Big Ed's Girl
I'm hooked on this author's way with a story. Her characters are so real, they jump off the page and you're still thinking about them long after the last page has been read. I enjoyed Malcolm and Kenyatta's journey every step off the way. I look forward to the next two books featuring Malcolm's brother Jared and his best friend Devin respectively. Was this review helpful? As a romance reader junky, this book started too predictable for me but I vow to finish the book. I was NOT disappointed and so glad I read the book. This is my first time reading anything from Synithia Williams and I'm ready for her other books. For a debut novel it was well written and the plot was intriguing and unpredictable. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Looking for an intense novel to indulge in? I would like to recommend “You Can’t Plan Love” by Synithia Williams. It’s a romance novel guaranteed to satisfy your desire for good reading! I enjoyed reading this novel. Excellent job! I love the way the author included small clues throughout the story which lead to the outcome of the story. This story reflects real life situations that can occur, which can be resourceful for many female readers today.

This was my first book that I have read by the author and from the Crimson Romance line and I enjoyed the book. There were a few twists and turns that I did not expect. I think the author did a great job incorporating the twists and turns. The title rings true, you can't plan love. Malcolm and Kenyatta did not plan to fall in love, it just happened like it should. I would recommend this book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Romance in the Office!
You Can't Plan Love is the story of Kenyatta Copeland, a woman who has decided to settle and marry a guy she's comfortable with, despite the fact passion doesn't exist. Her past dating experiences taught her to believe her only hope for a happy future revolves around being with a man she feels comfortable with. Passion is a luxury she can't afford. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Then there's the sexy co-worker she's been watching for the past few years. There's always a different woman visiting him at the office, because hey he looks that good. Not to mention he's her boss. Besides when a guy ignores you like that, he's not attracted to you, right?
Synithia did a wonderful job setting up the office romance, enough so that for a moment, I wanted to put down my laptop and go back to work in the corporate world and find my own Malcolm Patterson! Just the right amount of steam had my wiping off my Kindle screen every time the two of them were on the same page!
She also did a great job describing the characters state of mind, why they made the decisions they did, and what was holding them both back, or spurring them forward throughout the plot. In fact, the story was so well set up that the ending left me speechless and quickly flipping through my Kindle's pages to reach the end!

Synithia Williams. Although this novel does not skimp on the hot and
steamy, it is also suspenseful and delves into deep issues such as
manipulation, controlling behaviors in relationships, and emotional
abuse. Kenyetta Copeland is torn between what makes sense, fiancée Brad
Johnson, and what feels right, her boss Malcolm Patterson. Brad is the
safe, secure logical choice, while Malcolm is the player, the reckless
choice. As the romance begins to heat up between Malcolm and Kenyetta,
things appear to approach the danger zone with Brad. This is not the
typical romance novel because of the all twist and turns of the book.
The author definitely throws in surprises that keep you turning the page
to find out what happens next. As I read, I was eager to find out if
Brad was really Mr. Perfect or would the bad boy prevail. The author
does a great job of capturing the reader early in the book and continues
that momentum throughout. One could easily become so caught up in the
Kenyetta, Brad, and Malcolm saga that they read You Can’t Plan Love in
one day. Great debut! I am looking forward to what is next from this
