This book is about Blair and problems that are starting to occur in her life. She finds out that her mom is getting married to her boyfriend and that soon Blair will have a new stepbrother name Aaron. Nate dumps Blair for Jennifer, a freshman and Blair is upset. One good thing that happens, though, is that Serena and Blair fix their friendship and everything is back to normal. Aaron and Blair end up going to Yale together for Blair's interview. They decide to leave a day early and they stay up all night. Blair oversleeps and she has no time to get ready for her interview. She is so stressed that she ends up kissing her interviewer and spilling the problems she is having in her life. It leaves you guessing right up to the last few pages. A great overall read. Make sure you've read the first book if you're new to the series, because I don't think you'd be able to keep up with this one if you haven't. If you've read the first, make sure to snatch up this second one! The books keep you asking for more. Everyone deals with gossip in their school, everyone gossips. It's a bad habit but everyone does it. The characters in this book are spoiled, but have to go through the same things any regular kid would have to. Their lives aren't as great as everyone thinks they are. They are easy to relate to. This series is addicting and keeps getting better every time I read it. Every teenager should read this, you'd be surprised at how much it's like real life!

I HATED THIS BOOK! This book was a waste of time and of money. I got halfway through it, and I was like, What the heck? This book has the dumest plot, and it's down right negitive! It's all about, the most popular people, doing what with whom, and 'They're so popular, they're my idols.' It's a very racy book.

    Who Says?

Join Blair, Serena and the rest of the crew as they stress about college interviews, deal with absent-minded, soon-to-be stepfathers, and a shotgun wedding. The teens from the Upper East Side seem more scandalous than ever. Blair and Serena are still not friends, Nate is dating freshmen¿to everyone¿s surprise¿and the gang would pull anything to be accepted into college early¿and I do mean anything. I would not recommend that libraries purchase this book for their collection because of vulgarity and sassiness that could prove harsh in a school environment. However, I believe that young adults who enjoy the Gossip Girl series will enjoy this second installment.
