You Never Give Me Your Money

Peter Doggett has done good job reporting behind-the-scenes story of the personal rivalries and legal feuds that have dominated the Beatles' lives since 1969. Doggett also describes the wild mismanagement of the Beatles' fortune staked largely in Apple Corps. As a long time Beatle fan I appreciated his glimpses of why the Beatles seemed to crumble at the peek of their success. I like the story behind the group that shows them as young who misunderstood the legal ramifications for being the BEATLES.

A great insight into an important part of rock history

At the time it was happening, the breakup of the Beatles was huge. The buzz was everywhere and lasted for over a year, despite it's happening in a world without the round-the-clock connectedness that exists today.

While this book occasionally drifts towards the dry, administrative underbelly of legal detail, it remains interesting throughout. The Beatles story is well-documented, and this book offers a fab collection of vignettes that shed light on the interpersonal connections between the four men and their managers, assistants, lawyers and love-partners.

If you thought there was nothing more to learn about the Beatles in the Abbey Road / White Album era, you may be surprised.

    Great read

Very good book and an easy read. The book demonizes yoko and heavily favors paul. Regardless, this book was very entertaining and informative.

    The beatles

The beatles were the band of the centery. Now years later they are honoring the beatles after they change the world with beatle mania. Some kids are just starting to get into this. So this book is a great way to let a kid read of something other than fary tales. Because this is and always has been beatle mania!!
