Don't Let Critics From Publisher's Weekly Deter You

I thought this one of the best books I've read in a long time (and I read a lot). It was an entertaining, easy read, full of true stories, inspiration, and it caused me to live more in the 'holy wild'. You can't ask for more than that! I know lots of others who have read this book and loved it too. I only met one other person who didn't care for it. Sorry, but I don't see where Publisher's Weekly thought it was 'pat'. I thought it was just the opposite. My favorite part was on pg. 31 & 32 where Buchanan talks about God being 'good, but not safe' and refering to C.S. Lewis' allegory 'The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe'. This was an incredible help to me as I was going through a difficult time of questioning God's goodness and suffering physical, spiritual, and emotional pain.
