Cool and Romantic

Your Songs really put me in a romantic mood! I'll be honest...this isn't the type of music I typically listen to, but I can't help but appreciate the level of talent it takes to pull off music of this caliber.

The album is full of classic, recognizable tunes that are sure to help you relax and unwind. The perfect soundtrack for a date night at home! With so many songs out now with questionable lyrics and messages, it's nice to get back to the way music really should be and Harry does it here brilliantly.

Great easy listening CD!

Harry Connick Jr has a great and smooth voice and can sing anything and make it sound better. That is what he did with some old favorite songs. I really enjoyed "Just The Way You Are" and "The Way You Look Tonight". Every Harry Connick Jr. fan should own this CD. It is ...

    When Harry Met Clive

I was expecting something really big from Harry with this CD. He's had so many in recent years that were just lacking. I guess he did make a mistake collaborating with someone else who just wanted to make money off his name. I used to love, love, love Harry's music. And, I have seen him in concert. But, somewhere along the way, he just seems to have lost his original flare to making music fun. Don't get me wrong, his voice is beautiful. But, he just doesn't seem to make an effort at making this music standout. I was so disappointed I wanted to cry.

"Your Songs" Done Harry Connick's Way

I really love the standards on this cd. However, I was not impressed with Harry Connick's Jr.'s treatment of the songs. I didn't feel like his arrangement/vocal treatment made the songs very special or added any spark. I was very disappointed with this cd. However, when I saw him singing some of these very same songs on live tv, I had a different opinion. Perhaps, the album just didn't capture the Harry that I usually love.
