engaging contemporary marriage of convenience drama

Thirty something Pam Carver teaches senior English at Fort Worth¿s Keystone high school where the faculty and students respect her and most of the male pupils are half in love with her though she is behaves like a classic spinster in the classroom. However, two weeks before the school term starts, Pam learns that condoms are not one hundred percent fool proof as she is pregnant.
His ex-wife Shelly gives Keystone¿s boys basketball coach Grant Gilbert an ultimatum. He finds a housekeeper if he wants their teenage son to live with him or Andy goes to boarding school while Shelly goes abroad with her latest man. When Grant learns of Pam¿s plight he offers her the security of marriage for one year, which she accepts. As they fool everyone into believing they love each other both tries desperately to persuade the other that they¿re not in love.
YOU¿RE MY BABY is an engaging contemporary marriage of convenience drama. The lead couple appears no different than most protagonists starring in novels with this theme. However, Andy¿s jealousy of his unborn ¿brother¿ freshens the tale while providing an enticing side dilemma that many families face. In her sequel to CLASS ACT, Laura Abbot furbishes fans with a warm relationship romance.
Harriet Klausner
