I bought this book for my college-aged daughter who is just getting started on her own. Previewing it, I wanted to get out my highlighter and begin marking in it--I had to hold myself back! Great for women who are just getting started, as well as a refresher in common sence financial goal setting. To all of you women out there, pick a copy up for yourself or your daughters today!

    20-somethings can learn personal finance...

Farnoosh's youthful style (and references) make this a great book for 20-somethings in or about to enter the "real world". I bought this book for my sister, a recent Penn State grad, but figured since Farnoosh is a fellow Penn Stater, I would read it myself. I will admit that, as a 30-something, I did not get all the fashion forward references, but the information was presented in a clear, relevant, and concise format. This is the kind of stuff they never teach in college, and first-time employees are "supposed" to learn on their own...but personal finance is never given its proper due as young professionals move from college to the work world. Get this book for your son, daughter, niece, nephew, friend - anyone about to leave the comfort of a dorm room and enter a world full of the harsh realities of health insurance, 401Ks, and setting a course for their financial future.
