Zack's Alligator is about an alligator key chain that becomes a real live pet alligator. Humorous and entertaining for young children
I bought this book for a seven year old boy to read and complete a book report for school. "Zack's Alligator" was entertaining, perfect for his reading level and captured his interest. He shared it with his brother and sister. The illustrations are colorful and help tell the story.
Zack is a young boy who receives an alligator key chain from his uncle in Florida. A note in the box said to "Just add water." You will be surprised how Bridget becomes a real live alligator. Zack learns how to take care of his new pet, feed her and give her water. Zack and his friends have fun around their town with Bridget and talk about taking Bridget to school. You will laugh as you read about Bridget's encounters with the a lady and her dog, the mailman and a policeman.
We recommend "Zack's Alligator" for all young children to read themselves or enjoy as you read to them. It is a good choice for an elementary school library also.

It'll bring a smile to your child's face
When learning to read it is so imprortant for the child to be inspired to read on through the book. Simple insnt enough. For my daughter the story has to be worth the effort and this one didnt disappoint. She really enjoyed it and spontaneously reads it again and again. Was this review helpful?
