Amazing book, especially if you are inclined to procrastinate and don't know what to spend your time with instead of studying. I'm a huge mythology enthusiast and this book was hilarious to read with my background knowledge. I would especially recommend it as a present to high school students or basically anyone with a sense of humour.

    Bravo

If this were factual it would make a hell of a lot more sense than what we are taught in school but sadly it is not. It is absolutely hilarious and keeps your interest. I like how the Author makes a bunch of stuff up but ties it in with the truths of what we were taught about mythology growing up, which makes this book a pretty good one if you ask me.

    The gods are laughing!

O'Brien takes a look at the myths that have endured since humans began asking questions like "Where the heck did the earth come from?" and shows us how a little imagination and a lot of free time can spin some pretty odd stories. A hilarious look at what humans have believed and still believe. Written like you would expect a bunch of middle school boys to talk: boobs! balls! boning! Covers myths from around the world and actually does make you think when you wipe away the tears from laughing so hard. I want a tee shirt with the cover art just to make people ask me about the book.
