One of the worse Patterson books ever!

The premise sounded great. I ordered my Nook copy the first day it was available! Was this Dr Moreau meets the new Planet of the Apes with maybe a little Dean Koontz Watchers thrown in?

No! It was a terrible book with just the short Patterson chapters to even resemble one of his books or even a co written book! He has no bigger fan than I am! The Alex Cross series coupled with the Womens Murder Club and Mike Bennett series are always fresh and top quality!

This was a rare miss for me because of story being written almost by formula but it also included too many gratuitous animal eating adults and kids scenes followed by endless preaching about the plight of our world and animals! The way the ending of the book is wrapped up is an unbelievable yet neat and clean answer that even the most unscientific mind realizes can never happen!

What is worse you ask? I think the ending leaves it open for a sequel! Well here is hoping my dog chews my head off before that happens!
