One of the best books Ive ever read on the subject - It's so practical. No nonsense. Awesome resource. Every actor who works in front of the camera or is considering work in front of the camera needs to read this book.

"If you have to steal, steal from the best." It is good advice and there is tons of it in Mr. Caine's book. It is the most frank discussion of the actor's craft for being in front of the camera that I have ever read. And yes, there is a difference between being in the theater and being in front of the camera! It doesn't matter if you are a fan of Michael Caine or not, anyone who wants to act for film or does act in film will never forget this book once they read it. I make sure every actor has read it before I work with them.
