Sadly there have been many poor reprints of this classic book on Alexander the Great, and I expect that's where the 1-star no-text reviews come from. So I'll balance them out by saying that the cheaper NOOK edition (the one with a mosaic picture on the front) does a wonderful job of recreating the text, and even includes all the original pictures. Definitely a landmark work.
