This is my first read by Ward Just but certainly not my last. Not only does the author plot a good story, he tells it in the most exqusite language

There are so many facets to this novel that it's hard to decide what I liked best. Ward Just writes with such witty intelligent insight in his characters that they come alive and his plots are always intriguing:)
