An intense story of hope from utter despair to serenity. The author leads you carefully through the various stages of the protagonist's life and you sense the reality. This is a must read and unlike any novel I've read. Highly recommend. Comment | Was this review helpful to you?Yes No

This book was a chore to get through. There was no creativity or flow to the "story." It was this happened, then this then this. I kept thinking "where's the point in any of these bizarre events." The "love story" part of the book was awful, a union of conveinece, so awkward and not in the least bit romantic! I don't like to give up on books so I finally toiled to the end of the book and found no redeeming qualities. In fact the last few pages of the book were more ridiculous than the hundred before it. I'm genuinely shocked that this was published.

I really enjoyed this book. It did become far-fetched in the middle, but did redeem itself.
