The women come into their own establishing space colonies. The colonies are expanding and developing new technology as they recreate Earth on three separate planets. Exploration continues. Craig and his six woman crew discover some ancient planets that were partially destroyed then abandoned. Was it war? Was it a flaw in their technology that made the planets uninhabitable. As they search for answers they find an enemy that they must defend the colonies against and find a way to turn the tables to a more advanced civilization. They must develop new space weaponry to defend the colonies. Some of the crew must be replaced. They discover that there were a few survivors on Earth, but do not know how to help them. Their fledgling colonies do not have the industry to build more space colony ships.

About the Author

The author spent 39 years with the United States Air Force. He went through pilot training. He was an Air Force munitions detachment commander at a US Army depot, served as a munitions officer in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War, served in Strategic Air Command as a Nuclear Ordnance Supply Officer, spent years with the German Luftwaffe, a vice-commander of a radar station, and nearly 30 years in US Air Force Research and Development acting as an in-house consultant on most of the development programs during the Reagan Administration. He taught classes at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). He was a country manager for security assistance better known as Foreign Military Sales He wrote a requirement that led to the ARPANET that later became the Internet. It was even his idea to use the at @ sign in email to separate the username from the server address. He wrote a 30 page whitepaper that got funding for the Global Positioning System. He wrote a novel in 1987, "The Price of Peace" that led to the development of the current Unmanned Arial Vehicles like the Predator and Global Hawk. He made major inputs to the Air Force 2020 plan which as been extended to 2030. He was called by the Secretaries of Defense and State and two different US Presidents for assistance in solving some issues. He is now retired and President of the local Amateur Radio Club, a Shriner, and generally involved in his community. He reads 2 or more novels per week, 40 emails per day, and writes these novels in his spare time.
