I despise the North Carolina public school system's reading list for high schoolers. As a senior, I've gone through close to 45 (perhaps even 50) books that I otherwise would never have read...but this one? I've just gone out to buy (yes, buy! With a high schooler's salary!) my own copy. I can't possibly put it into words, so you'll have to read it for yourself--but please take my word on the fact that it is my absolute favorite play in creation. Enough said.

I am currently understuding in Tom Stoppard's play Arcadia i loooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeee it. The whole show, play book as you will is riviting and captures and holdes your most intence intrest. Although complex that is why i love it everytime i see it performed or read through it i find something new. everytime!!! i would recommend this book to anyone that appriciates good theatre. but only to those who are willing to sit down and give it your whole attention otherwise you will be lost and will ruin a beautifully written play.

Originally Tom Stoppard and many other play writers have always come as a bore to me. I only read plays for my acting class but when i chose Arcadia, something caught me, it was a brilliant story a must have and must read! I loved how it had a change of 2 different era's. This play has alot of action turning points and alot of mystery which is revealed within the play as you read 'or see it' i give it 5 stars and must admit this is by far my favorite play!!!!!!
