This was truly an great read. I picked up this novel out of boredom and couldn't put it down. The story is exciting and gripping. The main character, Juan, makes you hate him for all of his false ideals one minute and makes you revere him for his courage and cunning the next. Battles, love, war, revenge, deciet, triumph and hope fill this novel from beggining to end. Truly a great read, and a new favorite of mine.
