I actually bought this book at my local Barnes and Noble. I was looking for something funny and light (to offset all the depressing political books I have been reading) and I like British humor, the title was catchy, so I bought it. What a mistake! The main character is an idiot. She is not funny. Her escapades are not funny. The other characters are cliches of the bad boss, the arty co-worker, or the sexy playboy. Ugh! This is a thoughtless, unamusing, irritating novel. And I didn't even get past the 5th chapter! I don't recommend.
