Spent a lot of time in the past. Not a fan of that. The story in the present is great!

William Martin is a talented writer and uses good historical artificats to travel through history. Great dialogue as well. I just thought the story ran a little long and didn't care for the ending.

I enjoyed this story very much. A lot of great historical content. While I don't know how believable the end was, I was very surprised by it and liked that it was not what was expected.

The plot line traverses back and forth from present day to historical times telling a story that brings all characters together very nicely. The writing is very well written and I felt transported between the past and present without getting nauseated. If you love history and you like a good mystery as well, this writer does a good job a relating both.
