A young friend gave me this book. I've enjoyed it, and bought another for a friend who is a budding writer. Perfect for baseball fans of all ages. Think it may prompt an interest in readers writing their own haiku.

From the second you lay eyes on the cover, you know something special awaits you inside. This book captures the pulse of baseball and the feeling you get when you play the game. What I at first believed to be an odd mix 'sports & poetry', turned out to be a pleasing blend of language and line drives.
