This book is not quite what it is made out to be. There are a few good tidbits about unconscious signals given through body language in there, but basically it just explains different conscious actions from different cultures. If you travel a lot this could be a valuable book, but if you're planning on using it to help you read people within your own culture, you're out of luck. If you live in the west you already know what a person means when she/he puts an index finger to the temple and drops the thumb like a hammer on a gun. You don't need that explained. You don't need the thumbs up sign explained either, I'd imagine. That type of information makes up the bulk of this book.
