About the Author

John Garrett is a professional photographer, specialising in reportage photography for several major newspapers and magazines. He has written several teaching books and co-wrote the 35mm Photographer's Handbook which has sold over 2million copies worldwide.

Graeme Harris is a lecturer in Photography at London's Kensington & Chelsea College, he also teaches at the Zoom In photography school. A professional photographer, his photography has been widely exhibited and his commercial work includes photography for many well known companies and publishers.

As well as shooting reportage photography for several major newspapers and magazines, he has written several teaching books and co-wrote the 35mm Photographer's Handbook which has been in print since 1979, selling over 2million copies worldwide. John has always travelled widely for his work, and will be teaching Photography in the Department of Fine Art at Gettysburg University from Autumn 08.
