I highly recommend this easy to read book on all kinds of composting. Written by an urban worm girl, it reviews all kinds of composting, inside and out. Even though I have an outdoor bin for yard waste and kitchen scraps, i enjoyed reviewing composting tips. I learned i could even recycle dryer lint! I also found that I wasn't keeping my bin wet enough. I enjoyed all the tips on recycling food waste. There is a chapter on bokashi composting and then my favorite section...vermicomposting! This was a fascinating explanation on worms eating my kitchen garbage, shredded newspaper, and cardboard. The author writes about the pros and cons of different commercial worm bins. She also offers a detailed explanation on building a plastic worm bin..which I did. I now have 1000 red wrigglers happily munching their way through last week's food scraps. Thanks for the inspiration! (My patient hubby thanks the author too). I got the book free on Free Fridays. Thanks to B&N too!

It's a bit preachy at the beginning. But the how to parts of the book are excellent!
