The pictures are lovely, and some of the decorating ideas are inspirational. However, as one of the editorial reviews suggests, the cupcakes recipes are merely variations on a theme. A good book for a beginner baker, or someone who likes simplicity, but I wouldn't recommend for someone looking to expand their cupcake repertoire to include fantastically unique selections.
