A GREAT book for parents/teachers to share with their school age children. Great gift, along with the donation of a Tree for a school yard and book for classroom! My daughter, a first grade teacher loved the book and will share it with her class on Earth Day, followed by a tree planting! Curious George lives in the hearts of all generations. Thank you to Margaret and H.A Rey!

Almost every young child loves Curious George books. The preschool, kindergarten, first, and second graders in my music classes are no different. I was excited to find this book during my last trip to Barnes and Noble. I incorporate children's literature in my classes as often as I can. This year's Earth Day provided a perfect day to use my new Curious George book. The kindergarteners even cheered when they saw it on my book podium. We learned several different Earth Day songs then settled in with our book. It lead to good discussions especially with my first and second graders. We listed all of the ways we can help to preserve our earth and "go green". With the kindergarten class, we planted the seed packet, and it is sprouting and growing. This tied in perfectly with the unit the kindergarten teacher was just doing in her science lessons. They love coming in to check on our Curious George plants! All in all, I would highly recommend this book. My students and I enjoyed it, and I have added it to my collection.
