This was enjoyable. One of the best edited in his series. Only found 2 typo type errors. The sentence structure and use of grammar was greatly improved. Usually, his books are riddled with typos, misspelled words, misused words and improperly structured sentences which continuously stop the flow of the read. Once again, Bob should do a little more research on items before he puts them in print. For instance, a pregnant woman would not be told that it's OK to drink alcohol in moderate amounts because it's still early in the term of her pregnancy. This was an easy to follow plot with little or no surprise factor but I find the characters likeable and want to see how everything ends. Hopefully, the improved editing demonstrated in this book will continue in the rest of the series.

I started with the first book Classmate Murders and didn't stop until I had read the entire series. I love the books. Funny, exciting, mysterious, you just never know wh did it! I love the humor good clean reading that keeps you on the edge, and you learn to like all the main characters. Will read them again and again.

I thought this was a great read. Probably won't go into the classics section of the library, but it is well worth the time to pick it up and get involved with Mr. R and his group of characters as he closes in on the horrid life of Mr. Dark and his misfit clan of villains. As I read I became more and more involved as I'm sure anyone who enjoys a good who done it and who will get it next! Again, get it and enjoy a little time at the fair!

This is a continuing saga of the Sr. citizen slouth Jim Richards. I did enjoy this book and hope Bob keeps writing about Jim and his cronies.

Nothing like Something Wicked This Way Comes. Don't understand why the comparison to it. Nothing fantasy about i Basic predictable crime drama. Easy quick read, just ok.

Interesting story line, but needed a good editor. The characters would have been more interesting if they had been fleshed out a bit more. Short (but not very snappy) sentence structure made the book seem like a wanna be Dragnet. It missed the mark.
