Just in time, Dave Barry supplies the wholly original, much needed history and guide to the new American politics and its three capitals, Washington, D.C., Austin, and South Florida. No surprise: it's hilarious.

Understanding the urgent need for a deeply thoughtful balanced book to explain our national political process, Dave Barry has not even come close.

This book is for anyone who enjoys reading Dave Barry's column in the newspaper. The book starts by giving a brief overview of human history (little of which is true), then dives right into the political problems of our society. Granted, the book gets a little off topic, but that's what we love about Dave Barry. And if you've ever grown zucchini in your garden, it won't take you long before you are rolling on the floor.

Another funny, funny book by Dave Barry. His version of the Constituion is worth buying this book alone. His chapter on solving election problems by getting rid of Florida is hysterical. I laughed out loud.
