This is the cute and sometimes sad tale of the life of Edward the hamster. It is told from Edward's perspective in a diary/journal format. Throughout the book there are illustrations accompanying many of the journal entries. There is also an epilogue regarding the "owners" of Edward. In its entirety, this tale has a unique and fun atmosphere and flavor. I liked Edward. Overall, a neat read.
