I think this book is wonderful. In no way does it give me the idea of abuse to children. The other post by people who said it was the worst book ever clearly needs to read ALL of Gods words and not pull out and use what they want for their own agenda. The close minded comments toward this book are sad indeed. Talking about knowing the word of God and then saying that Gods ways are dangerous to a child. Come on people, Read your own bible and ask God for his understanding, not mans understanding of what he is saying.

I really liked this book. It not only teaches you about proper discipline but it also explains the importance of getting to "the heart of the matter." Very useful skills/information.

A wonderful tool that is proving most useful and breaking down communication barriers in my household. I highly recommend!

This book is one you wish you bought a hard copy of so you can return it. The author recommends discipline that is abusive oling the same lines as Michael and Debi Pearl. Go with Grace Based Parenting by Tim Kimmel instead.
