Overview

Al-Qaeda has a brand new weapon in their war of terror: a deadly unconventional explosive. The US government can't figure out what it is or where al-Qaeda is getting it until two men try to solve the mystery. Newly recruited Dragonslayer Captain Cabbott Westmoreland is the number one sniper in the world. Years of hunting have sharpened his senses to amazing proportions. He must use his skills to unravel a major plot by al-Qaeda. Can he do it? Or will some personal blunders cost the lives of thousands across the globe? Time is of the essence if they are going to stop the attacks. Lieutenant Jake Collins finds the other piece of the puzzle. His jaded past helps uncover the source of the explosives. Now it's time to take the fight back to the terrorists. Their commander, Lieutenant Colonel Eagle Tryggvesson will have to coordinate with other Special Forces units and government agencies to strike a blow to the heart of al-Qaeda. The thrilling sequel to PROJECT: DRAGONSLAYERS, it continues the saga of the unlikely Special Forces team thrown head first into the world of counter-terrorism. Battling forces seen and unseen, they use technological advances to gain the upper hand against their foes.

About the Author

I'm an active duty Air Force Master Sergeant with 19 years of service. I've been writing over 20 years and have been published in various types of media- magazine, news, photography and literary. I'm married and have two dogs, two cats and three horses.

I write military fiction and have published Project: Dragonslayers. It's about a small SF unit and the trials and tribulations they face. It deals with issues relevant to our warriors today: suffering with PTSD, anger, and denial. It brings all these to light through fictional characters. But I've got lots of experience- my husband is retired SF and suffers badly from PTSD. He's been gracious and helped me make my characters quite true to life.

A sequel is finished and I'm currently looking to get it published- Dragonslayers: Mind Games brings the team further into the dark world of the SF community and sends them against terrorists hellbent with waging war on the US and her allies.

And because I got so involved with these characters, I'm currently working on the third book- Dragonslayers: Battle Rhythm. Once again the team is faced with nearly insurmountable odds during their missions, and there is a new problem- some of them have formed relationships. Now they have to juggle their work and missions with their private lives- not an easy feat.
