I have to agree with "anonymous"...my kids loved it too. Really strange review from the person saying that the review must have been from some hired by a company. Take it easy..it is a kids' film! Doesn't matter if you didn't like it. The kids do. As an adult I thought it was ok, and I chuckled at a few parts...that's good enough for me. But my children (boy 7 and girl 5) loved it. I just asked my daughter if she thought the script was "trite". She just smiled and blinked. That also made me laugh!

Clever and funny! If you want animated film that you can laugh at and will entertain your kids at the same time...this is it! My 8 year old couldn't wait for this to come out on DVD! Definitely one to add to the collection.

Favorable: entertaining and fun for the family. The Evil Science Fair is the scene of this endearing tale of Igor. Igor wants to show he is more than an assistant and that he is intelligent. He enters the arena of the science fair with hopes of winning and the outcome is more than he could have imagined. Join Igor on his quest to win, find out the outcome of his bid for best monster, and along the way enjoy some fun, laughs, and pure entertainment.

There is one review already posted for this movie, but I can't help thinking that it must have been posted by one of the people the studio hires to review movies on these sites to boost customer interest. Anyone who had actually seen this movie wouldn't "love" it. There isn't much to love, honestly. The voice work is okay, the character design is just okay, the story is so-so, and the script is trite and undeveloped. Actually, it feels like this whole movie was rushed through production. Everything from the design to the script felt like a first draft written by an unfunny person trying desperately to get laughs. There is a great idea in there somewhere, but it was never properly explored. On the plus side, Patrick Doyle's music is fantastic! Great themes and orchestrations. . .although it's buried under the sound mix a little too often. Buy the soundtrack. . .skip the flick.
