I can start by saying I have never read any of Chomsky's many books. I saw this film because my friend was a big fan and it was at a film festival. I went in and 90 minutes later my view of the world had changed. This film (or Chomsky) really opened my eyes to what has happened since September 11th. He also tells about how Saddam Hussein was a big trading partner and arms buyer from the US up until the day he invaded Iraq. I was shocked to learn that. And that Saddam only became public enemy #1 after he (as Chomsky says) "disobeyed orders from Washington". This film has lots of great moments. Check it out if its playing in your area.

Great film. If you like Chomsky you'll love it. If you don't like Chomsky you'll probably still be impressed. Saw it on TV last year in Canada. Hopefully we can get it in Canada when it gets released.
