Like so many before me, I saw Blue Collar Tour and thought it very funny, so I bought 'Tater Salad.' 'Tater Salad' was pretty much the same routine but with more profanity and bathroom jokes. Instead of adding to my enjoyment of this talented man, I just ended up embarrassed and sorry I spent $15 on it.

Ron White is a funny guy, but this DVD repeats a lot of stuff from other routines.

If you've seen The Blue Collar Comedy Tour don't bother buying this. It's the exact same routine with about 10 minutes of new stuff. I hoped for additional comedy from Ron White because he was so funny in Blue Collar, but what a disappointment when we realized it was the same stuff again. He's an outstanding comedian, but he needs less booze, fewer cigarettes, and more new stuff. If the drink pouring and lighting of the smokes was edited from this show it would be half the length. A real disappointment overall.

Ron White is one of the funniest comedians I have seen in a long time. I watched this with my 63 year old father, and even he laughed so hard that tears were rolling down his face. My ribs were sore after watching it from laughing so hard, but it was well worth it. Gotta love the tater!

He is decidedly rude, coarse, and vulgar, and I certainly DO NOT advise that you allow your younger children to see this. But having said that, I must admit, as a comedian, he is excellent. His timing is perfect; his mannerisms, gravelly voice, and smile enhance his talent. I am not prepared to praise his character so highly, but this is an extremely funny show.
