The suggestion here, I think, is that the played women were so pissed off, they cut off something other than what was shown... ...if you get my drift!

This is a bundle of gory fun. Geraldine Page turns in a GREAT performance as the somewhat demented school head mistress. I am continually amazed at her range. She seemingly do any character and make them totally believeable. Not for those with weak stomachs. But - again - a great turn by Geraldine Page. Gory fun! all meant to be a bit campy I think. Enjoy!
