A total cute, smart romantic comedy. I loved every minture of the film and after it wrapped up I had to go to barnes&noble & purchase a jane austen novel. This smart film follows the lives of five women and one man on there journey through life & love & sex & relationships. The six individuals decide to form a club to escape the world of today and travel back to the world of jane austen & her six legendary books. Yet in fact its the six old fashion novels that help them cope with life today and that not much has really changing hundreds of years. Give it a shot, i loved it.

This movie is great for anyone that loves Jane Austen, but it's also great for anyone new to Jane. The film centers around five women and one man of different ages and backgrounds who form a Jane Austen book club. The dialogue is snappy and the relationships are realistic. I was pleasantly surprised by this film. Go watch it!

This smart and edgy book "treat", proves as unexpected as any page turner. Miss it, and miss out on all the trappings of life that intrude with persistency on this unlikely bunch of Jane Austen fiends & foes.

This movie was nothing like the book! It followed a completely different story line, and barely kept to the details of the book. I was extremely disappointed. The book wasn't that great to begin with so I thought the movie might be able to save it but it definitely didn't. Don't waste your time.
