I think the notion of using parapsychology to undercut the military culture is brilliant. George Clooney, Kevin Spacey and, especially Jeff Bridges (in his "Dude" persona) nail their performances. The plot and movements may have been a little subtle for the general movie theatre audience, but those who enjoy intellectual stimulation, along with their entertainment, will find this movie most satisfying. I went to see this when it was in the theater. All I can say is that several people walk out and I only sat through it to finish my popcorn.
