We know we're in a 1988 film when we're invited to laugh at O.J. Simpson in an opening slapstick sequence. We can also pinpoint the year of production when hard-nosed cop Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen), during a scuffle with the world's leading dictators, wipes the wine-colored birthmark off the head of Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev. Those wacky ZAZ boys -- David

Coming from a TV series, The Naked Gun perfects the onslaught of comedic performances from everyone in this movie and the jokes never get old. The scene in the hospital room while discussing the near-death of Norberg, is the absolute funniest scene I have ever witnessed. EVER. Co-staring Elvis Presley's former wife, Priscilla Presley, her addtion makes just of much as an impact as the others. The Naked Gun stands out because of not only good acting by Leslie Neilsen and George Kennedy, but ingenious writing as the screenplay makes this movie into the powerhouse it still is. While making fun of other movies in the process, this film goes down in history as the best comedy of all time.

This is my all time favorite comedy!! There is literally a laugh a line. Star-studded cast. This is a movie you will need to see more than once to spot all the numerous gags in it! Pure Slapstick fun!

One of the last great ZAZ boy films, this is a hilarious spinoff of Police Squad. It's a shame that there is no comedy out there like it.

This movie is an instant classic. Naked Gun made Leslie Nielsen's career. Everything in this movie made me laugh...OJ Simpson is even in it! I highly recommend this movie to anyone looking for a laugh out loud comedy.
