I first saw this when it aired on PBS many years. Because Jefferson is such a central figure in our history\\  and being an avid student of history I watched it. I though that it would be stuffy and boring however it  was anything but. It was an excellent portrayal Of Jefferson as a man, his insights ans views, how he  helped to shape this country. It also detailed the scandals, personality and conflicts. He was widely  attacked  for having slaves, yet many of our Finding Fathers had slaves with no comment. It was the  lifestyle and economic need to have them. Yet he believed in  Liberty for all. The film moves quickly  for the most part and provides a wealth of information. Jefferson was a man who believed strongly in   liberty, religious freedom and intelligence. His battles with the Federalists are renowned. His years in Paris and shaping and then supporting their own Revolution. The films never stops being interesting!
