Not bad, better than stock

First, like many people I am sure you have itunes music to transfer, so it would be nice if BN prepared better info on that. However, it's not all that difficult.

Yes, this does work with music on the SD card. No problems with that.

Yes, this does work with music on the SD card. No problems with that.

This is better than the stock player, but I can't find a way to make a playlist. You can't play multi albums from a single artist either. I guess free has it's limits.

UI is nice and the music mix feature is very cool....and free.

I'll continue to buy my music from itunes because the pay service here is not worth a monthly charge. Until a better music player arrives, this one should be a top choice.

    eMusic for Nook Color Tablet

I've had the tablet for a year. Been disappointed to no end with the default music player that came with it.

Installed the free eMusic app last night and copied several CDs worth of MP3s from a PC over to a 32gb SD micro card installed in the tablet. It was straightfwd to find the music and play, get this, an entire folder of music with no more effort than to point at it. I don't plan to use the for-fee version of this app so, right now, it does the trick for me.

I'm in the process right now of copying over another 10-15gb of music to the SD card.

(I really wanted to load up Winamp but was sorely disappointed to find out that I cannot get the Google Play App for this particular tablet - BNTV250A - without mucking around.)

I will update my review if the need arises.

very happy to have something that allows me to buy and keep musi

very happy to have something that allows me to buy and keep music at a rate much cheaper than Apple. Pandora's service is pretty good, but I can't stand the poor mix quality, and really don't need the commercials.

If you're too cheap to pay for music, stick with Pandora, but at less than 10 bucks a month, it's a deal if you buy and keep music.

Also, infinite explorations is awesome. Great way to find new stuff based on a favorite band or genre.
