A time-slip novel set in contemporary and Anglo-Saxon England, Elegy for a Queen is the story of Susannah Miller, who is haunted by recent tragedy and by echoes from the distant past.

The ghost of a Saxon queen, whose story unfolds with the discovery of ancient documents in a cathedral library, inspires Susannah, but also brings her perilously close to madness

This book was interesting. The whole time I was reading it I was waiting for something to happen to find out that nothing really epic came. This book was not well edited and was a rough read for that. I like the time period, but was looking for more of a historical novel than what this presented. It takes place in the present and the main character has a few flashbacks of Anglo-Saxon England. It is not interesting enough to read.
