Absolutely LOVE this book! The pictures are great! I love the intro and all the explanations. I'm not a first time stitcher, but this book is great. It has very very easy to read diagrams and leaves it open for you interpretation as well! Let your creativity flow! This might be trickier for first time stitchers who might want to have more of a hands on visual but she does a great job explaining! The stitches and designs in this book are incredible! I can't wait to get started. BUY THIS BOOK and keep it in your permanent collection!

This informative book is wonderful in every way! I love the drawings that explain how to preform each stitch! the Transfers are good, but she has better ones on sublimestitching.com! I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to begin embroidery.

This book has been great so far. She has chic embroidery patterns instead of a lot of the books you find at craft stores. She writes like she's sitting there chatting with you, and she has step by step instructions to go shopping, get started, learning the techniques, etc. My only complaint is that her stitch diagrams for teaching are hand drawn, and I've seen other books that take real pictures of embroidery stitches and those make so much more sense than hand drawn. But other than that, it's a really great book for beginners!

This is a great book for beginners or someone who wants a creative sidestep. The patterns are simple yet refreshing which is what I wanted it for. I also bought the other Sublime Stitching books and chart packs. I'm in an embroidery kind of mood.
