"Federations" was a very entertaining between author and reader in a science fiction anthology. It delves into the world of large scale politco-military units of organization. As such, the day to day grind of individuals is juxtaposed with intergalacticy polities. A very good read from an eclectic editor. Its a good gateway to other "Federations" like Iaim Banks' "the Culture"!

Very simple read. Very easy to understand, even to me, since English is my second language. I couldn't stop reading. Suggest to all: READ THIS BOOK!

I couldn't put this down. I was never a fan of the short story science fiction genre but this anthology has made a new fan.
